Bowen Therapy is a light touch holistic technique that works on the soft connective tissue (fascia) of the body.
A Bowen treatment consists of sequences of small moves, each at a specific site on the body. It can be done over light clothing and there is no oil or cream applied.
Massage is generally a hands-on technique with the therapist almost constantly in medium/deep touch with the client's body for the duration of the session, whereas Bowen therapy is a combination of specific, minimal, light moves, alternating with hands-off rest periods, to allow the client to relax and respond to the touch.
Pilates is a movement system that helps you look good and feel great. Moving, stretching, and strengthening with our mind-body approach creates a balanced whole body program designed uniquely for you.
At this time, sessions are private ( for one person) or duets (for two people).
Hypnosis is a changed state of awareness and increased relaxation that allows for improved focus and concentration. In hypnotherapy, we discuss the issues you would like to improve on in your life and how to go about making these positive changes . Then through hypnosis, in a state of deep relaxation , we open up the subconscious mind to the agreed positive suggestions to move beyond limiting beliefs.
After a hypnotherapy session, there are many positive effects, the first of which can be a feeling of relaxation and renewed energy much like after a full night's sleep. Depending on your goals, you may start to notice improvements in mood, relationships, productivity, sleep, and confidence.
Hypnotherapy is beneficial for a wide variety of issues because it relaxes the mind and body and decreases stress. In this state, positive changes can take place. Some issue that Brenda addresses in session are motivation, pain management, performance anxiety, rejection, self-blame, self-confidence, weight-loss, and communication skills.
You can choose whatever is most convenient for you. Both options are available and effective.
